Series recording issues with the Motorola Dual-Tune DVR

I've had a Motorola DCT-6412 twin tuner HD DVR for a while now, but I'm curious if anyone else is having issues with HD Series Recording. For some reason, it refuses to record certain HD shows when it's setup as a series recording.

I've been trying to narrow down the issue for a while now, but I'm starting to think it's a problem with the software in the unit. Is anyone else having problems with this box?
