(Roni) Usually when that option is turned on it is done in a menu and it is either on or off. If your daughter actually set a code on your TV she would have had to enter the same exact code twice on most TV's before the factory default was changed. The factory default on most TV's is 1234. If she did change the code, the only way to change it is resetting the TV at the board level. Hope I was able to help.

You are having a problem with your incoming power supply. That clicking sound you are hearing is the HVT. That is a 27 in sony TV. Does the set also power down automatically or will it stay on all day? It should power down when the system board detects errors on the PS.
Easy fix, the problem you are going to run into is that the parts are expensive. In most cases it is cheaper to buy a new TV unless you have a old set like that laying around somewhere that you can take out the FRU.
i have a toshiba 52' plasma. i hit power button and its ready to come on then every 8 seconds power litlight goes off. then by its self just keeps clicking on and off, with out touching it. with the tv never even turning on. help please.
the 52" plasma TV has a power supply problem, this is is a board level repair. not a really consumer friendly unit to work on without the kit of different boards. You should call a Toshiba authorized repair center to assist you with this repair. Good luck
I have a Mitsubishi WS-65511 tv, well at first i was having a convergance problem since it is an older projection tv. the blue was casting a blue shadow on everything on the screen. well now there is a huge blue line through the top of the screen going from corner to corner like a big smiley face. what could be the problem and how much is the repair or parts?
I have a 65" Mitsubishi Diamond Series HDTV (MOD # WS-65909) that was manufactured in 2002. I was out of town for a week or so and when I got home yesterday I noticed that all the clocks were flashing from a power outage. I went to turn on my TV and noticed that the green timer/power light on the front panel is blinking and I can't turn on the TV until it stops. The light blinks anytime the power is interupted or you press the system reset button. Either way it is only supposed to blink for a few minutes. When I moved back in June, I had a similar problem, but it stopped blinking after an hour or so. As of right now it has been almost 17 hours. I have tried unplugging it for a an hour or so and then plugging it back in. I have pressed the system reset button both while it was plugged in and unplugged. Any ideas?
Update on the 65" Mitsubishi that I posted about on 4 January.
I just received an email from a Mitsubishi authorized service company. They diagnosised the problem as a defective computer digital module. The service company quoted me a price of $1,062 to fix it; $685 for parts, $200 for labor and $177 for the service call. We bought the TV about 5 years ago, so I'm sure the manufacture warranty has run out and I don't think we bought the extended warranty, because they younger me was too dumb to think that anything would ever go wrong with an electronic piece of equipment. Please help...Looking for alternative and maybe even cheaper ideas. [email protected]
My Pentus LC32W5S” is broken. When there was a dark bit in a movie a funny noise was coming from the back of it, and this morning it just failed to turn on entirely. It then turned on but there were fuzzy lines across the screen. Any help please?
