RCA remotes interfering

I have an RCA home Theater package (upconverting DVD & Surround) that i have hooked up to my RCA LCD tv. Both items were purchased brand new less than 2 months ago. The problem that i am having is that the remotes seem to interfere with each other. When i turn the tv on, the DVD player comes on also. Also, while using the DVD remote, if i push the left or right arrows to scroll through DVD menus or try to switch my surround and subwoofer settings, the TV will change inputs or will try to enter an odd channel like 7704.44 for instance. Also I tried to program my DirecTV remote to control both items, but the codes for the remotes must overlap, because the same thing happens as mentioned before. Now is this just a common occurance with same brand items? Can i return the DVD player to get the same thing with a different code/frequency? Is there any settings i can use to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I tried calling tech support, but we all know that alls they tell you to do is un-plug it and that should fix it. Thanks...

Is there a ONE CABLE SOLUTION?

Whenever I see a new TV setup, I am flabergasted at the number of wires that must actually go from all of the audio/video/cable/antenna equipment to the TV. A miriad of cables that have to be routed and hidden from view so all you really see is the TV. Isn't there a product that allow me to plug all of my devices into it so I can send one complete high quality signal to my TV through a single cable?

Hi. Sounds like everybody here is pretty busy. I'm new here but would like to thank everybody for taking time to help others. Anyway, I need an owners manual for a Mitsubushi VS-45609. I can't adjust this thing right. Not a service manual because it works great. If anybody has even just how to adjust it with the remote or knows of a place I can buy the instructions, you can send the info to me at hangfire04252@yahoo . Thanks again.

Added music, title, etc. When I go to create dvd, it goes through all the steps and will finally start writing, but it stalls at 92% and will stay there before it errors out. Error message is, "errorr id 330023". I've called sony tech support and got no real answer. It seems like they don't have real knowledge of this software. They had me unistall, reinstall the software, but it still didn't work. Then they had me go into the advance setting and change them, but different error showed up then, "cannot write because of an error". can anyone help me out here. Thanks.

I have a 99' Sharp 25" tv model # 25L-S100B. I've tried for many weeks trying to find its menu option, but I have not prevailed. I think I'm starting to lose hair from this. The tv has a power button, 2 volume buttons, and 2 channel buttons. No menu button. I've heard you have to press the 2 channel buttons together to get the menu, but i've tried it in every fashion possible. I have an RCA SystemLink 3 remote, but the menu button on the remote definitely does not work. I REALLY need to summon the menu, my tv's contrast is insanely unacceptable!!! Does ANYONE have any remedy to my ailment?

I recently moved and the movers lost the power cord to my LG plasma screen TV. The end that goes into the TV is different than any I have seen before. It has three holes like a more common one. However, the opening is smaller. It almost looks like some kind of computer connection. However, LG doesnt' seem to know what I am talking about when I try to get them to send me a replacement. They keep sending the more common three prong power cord. Does anyone know what kind of power cord I am talking about and how I can obtain one?

I have recently recieved a Panasonic 30inch very nice TV. it came with the remote. The remote will work my cable and DVD, but not the TV. The gentleman said it hadnt worked for his TV in a long time, and he didnt know why. I did the normal, I tried to reprogram it to the Panasonic TV. it is supposed to be a preset that will only accept a Panasonic TV anyway, but I redid the steps as to pretend someone accidentally messed with it. No luck. Hmm, I tried several remote control units known as universal, even the remote that comes with my cable companies cable box. I had NO luck. It appears as though no remote will control this TV. I spoke to the cable company who looked up the proper code for that TV and it did not cause the unit to function. Since I know it will operate other devices, the remote itself should not be the problem. The eye or infa red dot on the front is NOT obstructed and I cannot figure out how to get it going. I cannot change the "aspect" of the TV without the remote, and its stuck on...
