I have too many papers at home and with me. Is there a cell phone that stores lots of personal information (besides name and phone nos.) so I can use it as a data base? I currently have a cell phone (a primitive type) with Verizon so hopefully they have something I could use. Any thoughts?

i bought a motorola v3 from an individual, not knowing about the recall in 06. since i can't take it back, maybe someone here can help me fix it. some times the lcd won't come on, but the key pad will. some times it will come on, but the lcd will turn white, then the phone will cut off altogether. i thought it might be the flex cable. replaced that, it didn't help. changed the battery, still no luck. now what? help me. larry dillon rocks, he helped me fix a sony projection tv about three years ago, and it is still just as clear, and plays better than new:)

I've been having this problem with my hd receiver for quite a while and am curious if anyone else has a similar probem. When you tune to an hd channel that displays the red "Scoreguide" button, the picture which is at first a widescreen hd picture, is compressed from the sides and the linearity is distorted. This does not happen on network channels(abc, cbs, etc.) or premium channels(sho, hbo, etc). The model of the receiver is H20 100. Anyone with a similar problem? Please let me know.

Hi - I sure hope you can help me. I recently purchased a "Visteon XV101 Portable DVD player" (from the Visteon DVD Dockable Family of products). It did not come with the needed cables to hook it up to a TV. I purchased a set that had 3 RCA connectors (for the TV) and two mini-plug connectors (one for video & one for audio). The sound is transferred to the TV without a problem but the video output to the TV is scrambled. If I pull out the video mini-plug slightly from the Portable DVD player the picture on the TV stabilizes but loses all color and has a ghost like quality or the picture disappears completely. I'm pretty sure I don't have the proper cables. I can't find any information on where to purchase the correct cables. I've been to the Visteon website but since it's a discontinued product they have no info on the unit. Here's more info on the DVD unit: The Video output jack on the portable DVD player reads: video in/out & s-video out. The Audio output jack reads: audio in/out & digital out. To me, the video out jack on the player doesn't quite...

For the past seven months I have wasted precious hours calling AT&T’s, HTC’s and Microsoft’s “tech support” in trying to solve various problems with my new (and getting real old by the minute) AT&T Tilt. I had previously owned an iPAQ 1940 Pocket PC (which I would sync through ActiveSync [various versions] to Outlook 2003 almost every night on my desktop PC) and a Nokia cell phone for several years. When the technology finally came about, I wanted to combine what I had into a single device. After months of online research for the “right” choice of PDA/cell phone, I decided to purchase the AT&T Tilt in August of 2008. From almost day one, I have had various problems ranging from, (“tech support”) “Well, you have an outdated operating system. You need to upgrade your ROM from 6.0 to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.” (So, why didn’t someone do that before they sold it to me, or at least tell me about the upgrade that was needed before I bought it?) to a Daylight Saving Time/Calender/syncing problem. After months of trying to keep up with making notations of what I had tried to do on my own, or what “tech support”...

OK, you've just plugged a "Thumb Drive" into a USB port on your computer & up comes this message "This device can perform faster" and then it gives you a list of Hi-Speed USB 2.o ports that can be used. My question is " How do you or rather what do you have to do to plug the USB device into one of them?" I've tried what I consider to be everything to accomplish that but to no avail. Is it even possible to use the Hi-Speed ports. Thanks

Power consumption?

Hi guys:i bring up this topic because i came across a forum that discussed the power consumption of Satellite Receivers on Standby, and somebody there said that the receivers consume as much power if receiver stays on standby as it consumes when turned on.So i went ahead did some calculations on my 322 receive, and came up with these numbers,i may be wrong on my calculations correct me if I'm wrong!. With my Fluke 87 measured 0.236miliamps turned on,and 0,226 in standby, on standby 120v/0.226=530 Ohms,120x120=14.400/530=0.027watts. turned on 120v/0.236=508 ohms,120x120=14.400/508=0.028watts. i don't know if these #s are correct, but if they are than the power consumption is very low and is not that bad,if not than this receivers are not green at all, because no matter what kind of equipment they shouldn't waist as much energy on standby as in on mode.So anybody here is an expert enough to refute my numbers?

Well I do have a CD burner in the PC and the software was there before I down loaded this piece of crap up date. I also lost my library which was extensive and did take time to create. I called Apple and they were really reluctant to help because I was not using Apple hardware ie I phone or i pod. Has anyone had the same experience or knows of a fix? Apple was willing to help for $39/hr

Old remote had a TV/VCR button - same TV system - and no problems This new one does not have a TV/VCR button. So .... when using this new remote control After I begin to record a TV show on my VCR, how do I return to TV mode to watch a show while recording is going on? Thank You
