Selecting a GPS system is like choosing a car part (and as for me it is choosing the best jeep cherokee parts for my ride) I thought posting this could help us motorist in choosing the car GPS system that is suitable for our needs... so here it goes... Decide how often you intend to use the system. Inexpensive systems simply plug in to your car's cigarette lighter and are small enough to store in your glove compartment, but they're not as user-friendly. Step 2 Consider the layout of your car. Step 3 Select a system that features multiple ways of getting to your destination. This can include by address, by intersection, by a personal address book or via a location selected directly from the map. Step 4 Look for a system that gives you vocal as well as graphical directions. The systems that...

How can I tell the speed/protocol of it's built-in wireless LAN component - b, g or n? I subscribe to Verizon Triple Freedom and know that my DSL jack provides (by direct test) 3 GBPS flow. A Verizon modem-router is attached. I think the need is to know if the T41 is able to keep up with that speed or if I need to attach a USB booster antenna and/or a more contemporary Ethernet PC Card. Thanks much. Chuck

I have a 96 Saturn SL. I want replace the stock reciever with one I already own. The one I want to use to replace the stock unit is a panasonic that is a couple years old. it works fine and ive had it in a few of my other cars. I cant afford to buy a different reciever or get a professional install. the stock reciever in the car (and therefore the hole in the dash it creates in its absence) is an odd trapezoid shape. is there any to install my aftermarket cd player short of a custom fabbed piece to fill in the remaining space? Are there any kits available for this application? Please help if you have any suggestions or tricks. I am at a loss. Thanks in advance!
