Recording to Sony Memory Stick for Viewing on Sony TV

I purchased a Sony TV some time ago. One feature that it has is that it will read Memory Sticks. I presumed that I could upload some picture files to a Memory Stick and then view them on my TV. No such luck. I believe that the pictures are only viewable, if they had been taken with a Sony camera, using the memory stick as the storage medium. Am I correct in my presumption? Is there any way to upload pictures from my computer to a memory stick so I could view them on the TV? I'd also like to create a PPS file (Powerpoint presentation) that would automatically show pictures, along with interspersed text to explain what was being shown, etc. Is this possible? Thanks

Once connected, I turn everything on and select the right input on the tv but the screen shows a message saying 'Out of Range'. Any ideas how I can get this to work? Thanks

This is my first time doing this,so bear with me if I am doing it wrong. I have a dazzle capture device, and I am using Studio Plus 10 to burn with. My problem is once I captured the video from my 8mm camcorder and then started the download procedure to my designated folder so I could then burn to my dvd, it was only half way through the transfer to my folder and over 2 hours has passed. Is this normal?

Sony DSC S70 wide angle lens, help needed please!

Hello all. Many years after buying my beloved Sony DSC S70 digital camera, still going strong, I have managed to acquire Sony's dedicated wide angle lens for it plus the necessary focus ring adapter. Unfortunately, there are no instructions with this wideangle lens (nor were there any in the camera's original instruction manual which I still have) telling me how to change the S70's settings to adapt to this new modification. My pictures, though wide-angle, are badly out of focus. Can anybody advise me, please? Thanks a lot for any help - Meg.

I have used Pinnacle Studio 8 QuickStart to burn a film on to Sony dvd-r and TDK dvd-rw discs. My Samsung dvd-r122 will not play either of them. I have also tried to burn it using Nero. I have been successful in the past using the above software to play on a different dvd player which I have now thrown away. This was done on a Sony-R disc which does play successfully on the Samsung DVD R-122 player. I have tried initialising the new TDK discs and also formatting them on the DVD player as it gives me a message to do this when I try to play the burnt video. Neither has been successful.
