Mitsubishi WS65611 green color dominant

Does anyone else have this problem? When using the HDTV connections, I get a green background and barely get any red or blue. If I switch to any other connection, the color is fine. I've adjusted the color scheme but it still has no affect. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, what was the fix. I pulled the back panel and found two possible circuit boards that could be the cause but I'm not electronically capable to test them. Any help given is greatly appreciated. I can be reached at dakota5883@yahoo.com , Thanks

Hi I love my Vivicam 10&20 it takes great pics, I have had it now for over 8 yrs. I have the disc it came with and have used this same camera over and over. My problem is that the whole sytem has a bug in it. I have deleted the whole Vivicam program and set the disc to download it again as I am not able to retrive the pics from my camera any longer as I had done before. Like there is no inf connected. Sigh... Do you have any thing to help me with this problem. I am very familiar with this so not sure why it will not work for me now. I have used it just this past summer for my hubby and jobsite pics. It acts like there is no informati0on from the camera and the computer. It wil not ever delete pics as I asked it to. It shows 25 pics on the camera but it will not down load them to my computer from the camera. Hope this is good enough information to help me. Please advise. Thank, Bunny

sony kp 61v80 standby light stays on

This sony kp 61v80 made in 1999 was working fine. Then I went to turn it on and nothing happened. No picture, sound , or any indication it's plugged in except the light. The standby light stays lit the second I plug it in. It never flashes and just turns on the second I plug it in and stays lit. No response to any buttons on the Tv or the remote. Anybody have any ideas to save me from this insanity ? Ok, I took the back panel off. About center front of the circuit board is a 3 legged chip # d2578 9f4. Behind the metal heat sink is a little blue 2 legged guy. It smokes when I plug the TV in for a couple secs then stops smoking. Could it be this needs to be replaced or something else is loading it up ? Hopefully this helps someone help me 8-)

I have read many threads and am new to this, so bear with me! I acquired a Sony KP53HS30 that supposedly went through a 'power surge'. Is that enough to knock out the convergence - or - is there more to it? I plugged it in and do not have the cable hooked up yet, so I get a 'no signal' on the fuzzy screen that is off a little on the picture. I found through the menus a spot that shows 2 crosshairs that do not line up (they are next to each other). Which way do I go? I have heard and read I/C's... Called a repair shop - probably in the neighborhood of $300 to get it fixed. Is there anything I can do? It is a 2001 model year also. Thannks!

Another WD-62525 Dead Question

Hi, I am new to the thread, but hoping to get some help. We have a Mitsubishi WD-62525. About 8 months ago we replaced the lamp and life was good. About 2 weeks ago we noticed the yellow lamp light came on, so I ordered another lamp. When the indicator went solid red I replace the lamp and still nothing. When you power up the TV, the fan kicks on and of course the green lamp blinks on the front panel. The lamp comes on for about 5 seconds and then turns off, as soon as it turns off, the yellow indicator comes on in front. After about 3 minutes, the indicator turns red and stays on. I thought it may be the ballast, so I went ahead and replaced that as well. This did not change anything. Although we have insurance, they require a certified tech to tell me it's dead. There is one tech in this area and when we called him, he said he may stop in next time he is in the area, but it may be 90 days. There is a Sears, but since we didn't buy the TV there, they said it would be...

--Motorola DCT6208/2005 Cable Box (Comcast HD/DVR)

My girlfriend was home during the cable install today. Installation tech left without installing/bringing my modem as well as the 2nd box for the bedroom. The main rooms HD/DVR box has no sound. Let me re-phrase that: barely has sound if the tv volume is at 100%. I put in a DVD and the sound was at the correct level. Any ideas- the only idea the customer service had was to exchange it for a new box today. I thought maybe some tv setting was set incorrectly. Thanks

Mitsubishi WD-52631 Lamp gone?

Larry, You were great help on decoding problems with balast on a Toshiba DLP projection Tv. The company made several calls, replaced the lamp and finally decided it was the balast which we told them was the problem from the beginning. They were unable to get a balast from Toshiba so the company we bought the tv from gave us our money back and we got a Mitsibishi WD-52631 to replace it in 2-07. Worked great until today. We turned it on and a solid green light came on for 20-30 seconds then went to red. No picture - no change in light color from red. It is making sounds like it wants to start. Cylces thru the sounds then stillness. Solid red light stays on. According to the manual this means the lamp is a goner. How long should a lamp last? Your expert advice is needed!! Thanks

My TV will work at times fine, then there is times I turn it on and it is great for but then the screen goes black and loses picture, sometimes I also lose the sound. I turn the power off and back on immediately and it might work great for 30 seconds or for days, but eventually it goes back to working intermittently. Any ideas??
