How can I get rid of Norton ???

Does anyone know how to get rid of the SBC Yahoo version of Norton (the Protection Suite)? My dad accidentally allowed it to be downloaded on his Dell computer and now his computer has gone insane! When he clilcks on his desktop icons, they ALL disappear and he can't do anything. He'd like to delete the Norton, but he can't find it anywhere in the programs list or through My Computer. He's tried to do system restore, but Norton turned off the system restore feature of windows. He tried to reload Windows XP/Drivers/Utilities but the computer wouldn't let him. Now he's just VERY frustrated and in need of GOOD advice. HELP!!! Kathy

Some are students, others dyed-in-the-wool geeks. Whatever, it doesn't matter. The bottom line is that all of us have seen this particularly non-elusive breed of tech aficionado, usually sitting at a Borders, Barnes & Noble, or especially, a Panera Bread cafe. We're breeding like rabbits. Virtually all of these establishments either condone or even encourage people to pull up a chair, stay awhile, fire up your laptop or phone, and take advantage of the Wi-Fi hotspot. Panera Bread even encourages patrons to make their restaurant their meeting place, and they offer free Wi-Fi access, too. As quoted from their official website : "So consider it your Panera, wherever. Stay and share as long as you like." So there, they said it. Nobody has to feel bad about considering Panera their meeting place, or to stay awhile. I've worked from Panera before. I've had meetings there. I've studied there. And almost every time I go, I buy something (usually coffee or a sweet treat to fuel my brain.) You can't yell at that "dude who's been sitting there forever" because that's OK. But you know what's NOT OK? Taking...

Why Wii Fit Will Never Replace DDR

Do you like scary transformation photos? Keep readin'. So, you're no doubt hearing a lot of buzz about the Wii Fit these days. It's made a splash, selling huge amounts of copies since its launch, and has a promising community aspect as well. I think the idea of sharing Wii Fitness results online is compelling and could be a lot of fun - I envision positive places, where users cheer each other on to become healthier. (Of course, in an ideal world, that's what would be nice. More accurately, you may hear "pick it up, fatty" or similar insults, from trollers and general ne'er do wells. Oh well, it's human nature, I suppose.) So, have I bought into the Wii Fit hysteria? Of course, I haven't tried it yet, but I'd really like to. According to Wikipedia , there are four aspects to the Wii Fit - muscle workouts, balance exercises, balance games, and yoga poses. Sounds exciting, as there could be a lot of different play variations to make sure you don't get bored while you burn fat. This Is Not A Wii Fit Preview (And Big Guys Shouldn't Yoga) Simply because you've...

"Look at what my PC can do, bet your Apple can't play this." I was, of course, referring to Ultima Underworld, one of my favorite games at the time. While he was still off getting dysentery, I was spelunking in the most advanced 3-D dungeon anyone had ever seen. I don't really remember what his response was, and it doesn't matter. Because he's laughing now.

Ever try this site?

So I have a site I frequent often when I want to purchase new games, my camera, hardware. It is expotv.com. My question is, has anyone joined as a member and actually made videos? They say they pay $10 per video on your accepted videos. It looks totally legit when I read through the forums and watch the videos-I mean with so many videos on their site I guess maybe ihouldn't be hesitiant, but I am curious if ayone has joined as a member yet?
