...This is an RVM1435 over the counter microwave that is mounted above the range. It began to rotate in a &quot;jerky&quot; fashion about 6 months ago and has finally stopped rotating all together. Can I get at the motor that rotates the turn table with the unit mounted and can you describe how to get at it?...Thanks bunches...Darryl

HP's TouchSmart 2 Announced, Gives iMac a Little Competition as Best Looking All-In-One

<img align="right" hspace="10" src="http://www.techlore.com/imagelib/contentitem/22788/f0f219158e118e83--2c3d71ff-11a79292e37--e31775711134.jpg">Yesterday, HP Announced the successor to the TouchSmart, a touch friendly, kitchen computer released well over a year ago. Boasting an attractive (albeit slightly odd) design and touch capable widescreen LCD monitor, the quasi all-in-one TouchSmart turned out to be great seller for HP. While I have always given iMac props in the all-in-one looks department, HP may just have a cooler looking, sleeker design (only 2.6 inches thick!) with the TouchSmart 2... but your opinion may vary. Not only do I think it looks nicer than the iMac, but it continues to offer the unique, kitchen and family friendly touch screen interface. At 22&quot; you'll need a fairly large size kitchen to put it in, but the innards have been improved enough to warrant placement in any area of the home. Under the hood of both different models in the new lineup, you'll find a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5850 processor, DVD burner, built-in webcam, 500GB hard drive, 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9300M HD graphics card, and 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter... enough PC for most folks at any level. The only difference between the two trims is the inclusion of a TV tuner, which you may or may not need....

Electric fireplace

I received a non-working electric fireplace. The model is DBL2000-MS2 made by Ningbo Jiaqing. There is no power going through and I can't find a schemaic online anywhere for this unit or any information. On the unit chipboard there is a place right where the ac cord plugs on and there is a spot for a component marked 471. The component itself has been removed and I have no idea what belongs in this empty space. Does anyone have a suggestion or know anything about these things?? What belongs here or where I can find a schematic??

Montgomery Ward Microwave

I have a 1982 Montgomery Ward Model KSA-8283A that keeps blowing the 15 Amp ABC fuse. I checked for direct shorts and cannot locate anything to cause the fuse to burn out. I tested the transformer and checks okay with no grounding of the windings. The input shows continuity also. Is continuity through the magnatron suppose to show straight through after disconnecting all the wiring to check using a ohm meter? This one does but I am not sure what this one is suppose to do. I have never had to check the magnatrons out before this. Microwave runs a few seconds then buzzes and burns the fuse out. One time it tripped my circuit breaker. If this isn't it is there a good place to start checking for a short somewhere? Thanks for your help.
