I need help After i installed the software I turned my computer off so it would download to the computer completly. After 5 minutes i tried turning my computer back on but it just went to a blank black page with a dash on the upper left corner. HELP ME!!!!!!!

Question : I downloaded pictures from my camera's SD card to my computer. Then, I cropped, adjusted, etc. to my liking and created a Photo CD. Can I put those photos from the disk back onto the SD card? (Contributed by BillyZ) Answer : It depends on your camera and your editing software. Let me continue on to explain the details! When your camera formats the SD card that you have inserted, it usually sets up directories in the card, that help it to figure out where pictures are located. You can navigate to these directories using the File Manager in Windows or the Finder in Mac OS X. The labels on the directories depend on what model camera you have. In addition, when you snap photos and videos, the filenames are automatically created by the camera, and placed in the directories that it chooses. Here, you can see how my Casio camera displays its file scructure and filenames for both movies and photos. Now, on to your question - now that you know what's going on behind the scenes. There are a number of ways you can manipulate your photos once you have the card out of the camera....

I want to record interviews on a webcam, then tranfer them onto my laptop and/or desktop, eventually putting them onto a Cd or DVD. Any suggestions??? I am as computer illiterate as can be so please don't laugh....Thanks

Recording to Sony Memory Stick for Viewing on Sony TV

I purchased a Sony TV some time ago. One feature that it has is that it will read Memory Sticks. I presumed that I could upload some picture files to a Memory Stick and then view them on my TV. No such luck. I believe that the pictures are only viewable, if they had been taken with a Sony camera, using the memory stick as the storage medium. Am I correct in my presumption? Is there any way to upload pictures from my computer to a memory stick so I could view them on the TV? I'd also like to create a PPS file (Powerpoint presentation) that would automatically show pictures, along with interspersed text to explain what was being shown, etc. Is this possible? Thanks

sony dsc w100 HELP??

Hi, Can anyone help me please, when i attach my sony dsc w100 camera via usb to download new pictures it reads that one of the usb devces has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it. when i click on the window it says the usb device is unknown. This is frustrating as i have downloaded pictures on this camera before.
