I saw a wonderful digital camera on an online-store globeoffer.com . I am attracted by its amazing functions. This CCD Sensor, 7.2M Pixels, 3.0''LCD, MP3, MP4, 3X Optical zoom gives me a super feeling to view my pictures with 3.0-inch TFT display .It is with 3x optical zoom/5x digital zoom,.It has 7.2M pixel CCD sensors and built-in 32MB flash memory. AAPART from this,it has SD/MMC slot, removal harddisk and mp3/mp4 player, video recording. I just can't believe it has such unbeliable functions in a small box at first, but it really does.Besides, its wholesale price is another reason to sparkle my eyes.

Fujifilm F470 Finepix buttons not working, camera works

Good morning! The buttons on the back of my awesome Fuji film fine pix F470 are not working. I am 99% sure this is a mechanical issue. They got "balky" at first and now some won't work. The other evidence is that some of the functions on the up/down/left/right still work, so I believe that the electronic interface is still "talking" to the buttons...any ideas on "cleaning" the buttons? The wide/telephoto and left/right are the ones that don't work. I don't recall dumping anything on the camera or dropping it in the toilet but I don't baby it either. Love the camera...it is our fourth like this in the family. Mine is the only one puking. Marty

How to Digitize 35 mm Slides?

I am looking for an effective and affordable means of digitizing 35 mm slides. I have many hundreds of slides, both my own and my father's, going back over 50 years and some are starting to show color degradation and I would like to digitize them before they get much worse. About 10 years ago I purchased a slide and negative scanner, but the results were unsatisfactory. I have looked for alternatives today, and the only things that I have found seem to be similar technologies, some of them included with flat bed scanners, and some very expensive dedicated slide and negative scanners. I am wondering if a digital camera, with an extreme close up capable lens, sometimes called macro, could be used to obtain good quality digitized copies of slides? What other reasonable options are there?

Help! My New Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xs has an error!

It's brand new (I just got it for Christmas), and I started getting an "Err 99" message telling me to turn off the camera and re-install the battery. I've done so, at least twelve times and then I looked it up. I got some advice off a forum telling you how to see what's wrong with your camera. I followed the directions to the "T" and the memcard, and battery where fine so I figured, 'Must be the lense' I was using a telephoto lense so I thought I needed to have it checked out but good thing I checked. I put in my other lense, the lense that came with the camera (I can't remember what it's called sorry ^^; ) and then it gave me the same error when I had no problem taking pictures without a lense and when the memcard and battery where in place. The forum that gave me the instructions on how to diagnose it told me it's a shutter curtain problem. I can't afford to have it fixed right now. Is there any thing else I can do?

Putting pictures from my computer back on memory card??

I need someones help. I have a Kodak camera, V1003. I just downloaded the pictures that were on my memory card, in my camera, onto the kodak easy-share program. The thing is, is I wanted to upload them, but still keep them on my memory card because I wanted to put the memory card into my digital picture frame. My question is, I know theres a way I can put the pictures back onto my memory card, but I dont know how to do it. I heard I have to have a memory card reader, which I have. But when I plug it in, it just pulls up the "G" drive. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks!

action shots

I've researched a little and, although there are probably many forumns about cameras for action shots, haven't found answers to some of my questions. I'm interested in taking sports shots and have lately gone to swim meets to try to get some good actions shots. As many of you probably know, dim lighting is a big obstacle in swim rooms. So far, I've tried taking pictures with a Nikon D100 SLR camera with a 120 mm lens, a Canon EOS Reb XS (?) with a 135 mm lens, and a point and shoot Canon. Out of these three cameras, my friend's Canon SLR was able to take some amazing shots of swimmers diving off the boards and in the water. The pictures were never blurry, even when I zoomed from across the room. My own Nikon D100 actually performed terribly and I couldn't get any clear shots whatsoever. I couldn't zoom or get people moving at all. So, some of my questions are: 1. What makes a camera take photos more clearly and faster than other cameras? What does the Canon EOS have that my Nikon D100 doesn't? 2. What's a good camera for amateur action shots? While I enjoy...
