I've determined that the 9V regulator (IC9C25) needs to be replaced. I need instructions on the procedure for replacing the IC. I've seen posts concerning the replacement, but no instructions. I have the manual for the TV. but it doesn't go into any kind of detail for the procedure. If you have the procedure, please email it to me dtrmnd2@comcast.net.

You need a special square end for your soldering iron or a infrared desoldering station.
