So I got a ps3 and have been trying to hook it up to the internet for the past 2 days and nothing has worked. I have called my internet provider and playstation many times and nothing they suggested worked. I tried restarting the router, restore the playstation, specifically allowing the ps3 mac address, and manually putting in an ip address. In the end it still fails to obtain the ip address. So please help!
