Would this classify as a burned resistor. My tv would not turn on. The led on the front kept blinking 3 times. I removed the back and looked at the resistors, noticed that this one was considerable darker than the others. Does this look like a burned resistor to anyone?

Help please....

Turn off the room lights, & see if it glows when you turn on the power.
Otherwise, you may need to remove one leg, & test it with an ohm meter.
Good luck

I have the exact same model but my problem involves 5 blinks. Anyone with a service manual know the code? Been looking for the info but everyone wants at least 20 bucks just so I can take a look at something for a product I already paid for.

Keep reading the other posts on this site. I know very little about tv's or the codes, but I saw that one of these posts had a chart explaining the different blink codes. Good Luck!
