Mitsubitshi blue convergence problem

I have a Mitsubitshi WT-42413 for 5-1/2 years.  The blue channel recently starts bowing after 10 minutes of so watching.  See picture below.

It tends to return to normal when it's cooled off (after turned off for a while).   From what I've read in the posts, it's either a convergence IC or convergence AMPS problem.  Need confirmation and recommendation for fixing.

Ive gotĀ a similarĀ problem

Ive got a similar problem with the same exact tv-- I dont have a bend in the blue- mine literally separates from the other colors at all verticle points-  This is an intermittant problem that occurs after 30 mins or so of on-time-- Convergence has been reset with no success--

Been researching it this weekend and it looks like most recommendations point to IC's but I want clarification as well-- Heres a link to the part Ive been looking at--

http://www.electronic-repair-kits.com/STK394-250.html

Heres a picture of my screwed up 4.5 year old tv-- I thought I was the FONZ because when I pop the tv in the corner it realigns depending on the severity of the blow-- ( I realize this cant be helping the tv- but Im not spending a dime on labor to have it fixed so If I cant fix it -- im getting out the hatchet)

If anyone has any feedback or experience on this its appreciated-- Im guessing this would cost $250-$400 to fix at a shop...

I replaced the 2 convergence

I replaced the 2 convergence ICs but the problem did not exactly go away. What I mean is back in July, the convergence problem came on after about 10 minutes or so of watching. By late July, it was always on. Since I replaced the chips, the condition returned to where it was a month ago: if I keep a fan on blowing at the convergence IC heat sink (with the speaker cover and panel off), the convergence stays normal. If I let the ICs (or something else) heat up, the blue channel would distort.

I've also read something about replacing pico fuse(s). I notice that a number of "convergence IC kits" out there (other brands) usually come with STK-ICs and resistors. I looked at the service manual and the circuit diagrams but couldn't figure out where they are. I'm in need of advice on what to do next.

Since my August 17th post,

Since my August 17th post, the convergence problem seems to become permanent (again).  It is instant on whether or not I have a fan to keep the Conv. ICs cool or not.  I've checked the pico fuses (F9A03, F9A04, F9A05) but none is blown.  Are there any resistors you would recommend me to check?  I've checked R9A03, R9A05, and R9A06.  These are identical resistors but the latter two seem to be bad (I need to get a new multimeter to verify).  Could they be the culprut?  Need expert advice.

I checked the resistors near

I checked the resistors near the power supply and convergence circuit, particularly the problem blue channel. Everything seems fine. I was puzzled by some resistors not reading the right amounts in the other channels.... There is a place where the +/-24V from the power supply would step down to +/-9V to feed the convergence circuitry. In order to check that, I needed to power it up. That presented a problem since I need to put everything back together. I reached in from the TV front panel opening to check the voltage. The +/-9V is on the near side of the resistors. They read fine. I then checked the voltage by reaching the probes to the far side of the resistors. I didn't have much luck. Somehow it touched something and shorted the circuit. Smell bad, not good...
