Mitsubishi ws65907 picture turning bright white

Hello, I recently had a problem with my WS65907 powering off after a few seconds of turning it on and found it to be two blown "pico" fuses next to the regulator.  I replaced the fuses and everything worked fine for about a week then the picture started to suddenly drift to a bright whitish hue as if you turned up the brightness as far up as it would go.  It will stay like this for maybe five minutes then go back to normal again for a couple of minutes then go white again and stay like that for longer and longer.  It will toggle back and forth at intermittant times with no consistancy.   If I turn the TV off for a minute it will come back on normal again for about five minutes and start the whole cycle all over again.  When it is all "whited out", all of the video functions (TV auto iris, contrast, brightness, color, tint have no effect when you try adjusting them. I'm thinking it might be a capacitor(s) that are maybe bad??  Any suggestions???
