I also have this problem, but my camcorder doesnt' seem to be listed. Is this a complete list of those covered? I have an scd303.

Member I just called samsung about this problem. My camcorder serial number is one month out of the range of numbers covered by this recall. It is doing exactly what everyone describes and they tell me that they won't cover it and that I will have to pay for the repairs. I am going to the Attourney General's office of Delaware to get them to help me with this matter. I have even spoken to the customer complaint, executive branch, and they give me the same sentence over and over..."I'm sorry m'aam...your camcorder is not covered by this recall." Looks like I'm just stuck with this lemon...my advice to all of you...never buy Samsung again!
