I have jvc GR_D250U

I bought a firewire board and installed it and when i plug my camera in to edit movies on adobe primere ..it dosen't reconize my camera.....I don't have the cd for the camera...I checked the device manager and the 1394 is listed...my computer don't pick up new hard ware found ..do you think there is something off in my computer,,??Thanks JOHN
