Hi Everyone,

I hope you can help me. I  was wondering if I was to purchase a 250gb portable hard drive for my computer could I transfer all my son's games to it and he can play from the portable. Therefore it would free space on my 40gb internal hard drive.  I'll welcome your suggestions.  Thanks so much.

Hi Linda,

I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't work.  Except for the simplest of games, you'll probably need to uninstall the game and run the reinstall process to "transfer" the game.  Often times just moving the files will break the game (there are shortcut files and registry entries that would still be looking for the files in the old location), so an uninstall/reinstall will be a safer bet.
