The tv was in warehouse storage for over a year. No obvious damage. Circuit board clean no smoke but wife noticed an acidic odor when on. No blinking green light syndrom. New to the area. Would rather try to fix it myself with help. Thanks
I am also having a problem with mitsubishi tv model WT-4608. Wont turn on. green blinking light. no picture/sound. First problem developed was it would shut down after being on for 45 minutes and wouldn't turn back on for about 3 hours. any ideas?
There are bad capacitors most likely in the main power supply or perhaps in the sweep power supply. you will need an ESR capacitor meter to find the bad caps, or maybe you can see them ozzing blown or black gunk. Maybe the tops will be swollen a bit also.Good luck
