Great site and you guessed it having problems setting up my sharp home cinema model No HT-CN400dv system to my Samsung lcd tv LE32A41b.

I also have a Virgin media cable box. So here is the problem, having set up the home cinema with scart and phono leads, it plays great when a dvd in the home cinema, but as soon as I switch to normal TV no sound on the surround sound, even after trying the different settings on the home cinema, but the weird thing is when the TV is turned off the surround sound centre speaker works with sound from the TV!!!!.

I have one scart from the TV to the Cable box, running from Ext 1 (TV) into scart(TV) on the cable
The other Scart from Ext 2 (TV) into the home cinema also from there phono leads from the out 1 of the home cinema into the AV phono of the TV, hope this is not confusing.

Any idea's or suggestions would be great
