I woke up this Christmas eve morning, went downstairs to turn on my Mitsubishi WS-55513 TV, and got no response from the set - just a blinking green power light.  I have unplugged the set and plugged it back in, and used the reset button.  Still, I get the continuous green flashing light.

Larry, can you help?  I'd love to repair this myself instead of shelling out big bucks to fix this.  I've seen where you've sent others the info/detailed instructions needed to repace some capacitors?  Could you send me instructions for my set?

I would really be grateful.

Larry. Looks like you have sent the blinking green light instructions 100+ times. Could I impose on you to send them one more time.
Model WS55613.
Thanks in advance.

Ive never received them either. broncman82@yahoo.com

Yeah, the 35vs were a bit of a pain to get to fit in the case, but I managed, but still no luck.

When I did my repair it didn't work at first either. Larry suggested removing and reseating the DM board. I did and then it worked. Maybe that will work for you.

Larry:
Bought the repair kit, replaced the caps, tested the fuses(OK) now I don't have a blinking light. I have a click when I turn the set on but the screen does not illuminate. It is as if there is no power but there is.
Any suggestions???

Okay Mitsubishi sent a tech to my house today and they said I need a new DM board - $500.00 which I can't afford now. He said it is basicly the computer part of the TV?

Hi Larry;

Okay I have 2 posts above and went back reading other posts. Can my DM Board be fixed or do I really have to pay $500.00 for a new one which I can not afford. If you could please email me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Bev email: winnipb81@aol.com

The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! The kit comes with original Sanyo STK IC'S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made IC'S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases,
