I've sony vaio laptop came with click2dvd.  I'm trying to use click to dvd to create dvd.  I've imported the home video and did all my editting.  Added music, title, etc.  When I go to create dvd, it goes through all the steps and will finally start writing, but it stalls at 92% and will stay there before it errors out.  Error message is, "errorr id 330023".  I've called sony tech support and got no real answer.  It seems like they don't have real knowledge of this software.  They had me unistall, reinstall the software, but it still didn't work.  Then they had me go into the advance setting and change them, but different error showed up then, "cannot write because of an error".  can anyone help me out here.  Thanks.

I'm getting the same message, "cannot write because of an error".

What is that supposed to mean?  HD isn't full (only 25% of 250Gb used).  Only writing 3.2Gb to the DVD.

Try selecting the "Edit" mode... From the edit mode, before you burn the DVD, select "File" --> "Settings" --> "Advanced Settings"

Under Advanced Settings, select the "Convert the Files Again When Creating the DVD" and see if that helps. It worked for me.

Now, my problem is:

I'm having troubles getting Click to DVD to recognize my Sony HDR HC3 camera. I was able to download video and burn DVD's in the past, but I cleaned up my hard drive. Now, I can't get Click 2 DVD to recognize my camera. Any suggestions?

I had the same error where near the end of burning the DVD I got an error - I think it was error code 330023. I tried the advance settings thing, it didn't help. I finally got past it by turning OFF the Slide Show Setting that syncs the slide show with the background music. After that I was able to burn the DVD successfully. It is kind of a pain to have to fiddle with the display time, but at least I was able to burn the DVD.

I hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Tried to burn the DVD but keep on gettin error ID 330023. The advance setting did not help. Erasing some video files(to 6,9 GB) like VAIO advised did not work. Slide Show Setting does not work when you want to burn video's only. Can anyone please help me!!
