OK I will send out the repair procedure but make sure you repair the power supply board as well,. along with replacing the DM capacitors. There should be some capacitors that are a little swollen on the top of them also. Look at the picture on this thread for identification of the power supply board.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Hello Larry, I seemed to have also developed the same problem with the blinking green light.  I replaced the 4 1000uf caps along with the 2 3300 uf caps on the dm board.  I reinstalled everything and the blinking green light will not go away.  Do you know of anything else that may cause this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  thanks.

Larry,

I think my earlier request may have fallen through the cracks. I would like to get the info on repairing the DM board for a Mitsu WD52525.  i am helping a friend with his repair, and he said the symptoms are a blank screen and a blinking green light. My email is gbulfin@gmail.com. Thanks for your help.

Larry

My saga continues with my WD52725.  You sent me the repair info for the DM board. I replaced the caps twice to no avail. Checked the fuses and all were good. I sent the DM and power supply board to PTS Corp for repairs. The were able to rebuild the power supply board but now have told me that after having my board for more than three weeks they can not fix the DM board. They said that they can not get some software from Mitsubishi. Any ideas on where I can get the DM board repaired?

February 2, 2008 8:53 PM

Red baron, if the tech replaced the capacitors, your DM is probably bad. Sorry.

Paul, I'm afraid that the onlt peeps who can help you now would be the Mitsubishi boys.

Well Larry can you go ahead and send them anyway, I would like to have them if that iks possible, also do you think it could be caps on the PSU or any other board that the tech didnt check ? Also how do i go about getting a new DM board for my 52525, I thought some1 mentioned Sears had them for like 70 bucks, Is this the case?

So I should jsut shell out the 800 to have mits repair it? Larry, Can you send the repair manuals anyway ? redbaron5@cox.net, TY

I was afraid I would have to talk to mits again. They really are a pain to talk to.

Thanks Larry. Keep up the great work.

If you don't mind, could you please send me the 52525 guide? I removed most of the screws on the back but I can't seem to get the board removed. I must be overlooking a few hiding screws! I'd prefer not to break anything in the process. Thanks - adam@dfwsbr.com  =)

Yes DFWSBR, I will certainly send out the information for your TV set. Good Luck!
