I am creating a picture slideshow using the Click to DVD software. In the settings section of the slideshow I click on the 'sync music with end of pictures' (instead of choosing a time limit for each picture to display I thought this option it was calculate the time for me). But the pictures are still displaying when all 3 songs are over and the first song starts playing again. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Sony doesn't have much help available for their Click to DVD software that they preinstall on some VAIO computers. However, given that the option says "sync music with END of pictures," I'd guess that selecting this option trails off music and ends the current song with the last photo. In other words, I don't think it will adjust the duration of each photo to end with the music, instead it ends the music when the photos are done.

My guess. Do the help files for the software give a better explanation of what this feature is supposed to do?

The Help files in the software says:

- To specify the time that each picture is to be displayed, click "Set Display time". In this case, specify the length of time in the Display time area for each picture.

- To match both slide show and backgroud music's play time, click "Sync Slide Show length with BAckground Music". The minimum display time for each picture is three seconds. During playback, if the background music is less than three seconds, the music will loop from the beginning.

The slideshow that I was trying to do has 79 pictures and the songs attached add up to 532 seconds which would be about 6 seconds per picture (including transition time) so it meets the minimum requirements.

Thanks for the idea though. Is there another slideshow/home video software that you would recommend? This software only can hold 99 pictures per slideshow and I would like to find one that holds more pictures.
