Has anyone had success discussing the "blinking green light" issue with Mitsubishi Technical or Customer Relations. Is the problem unique to Mitsubishi TV's or does it spill into other Manufacturer TV's.

I have sent an email to Mitsubishi Customer Service.  No response yet, but I'll let you know if I hear anything.  This sounds like a great class action suit for one of you lawyers out there!

I called Mitsubishi Customer Relations yesterday because of the green blinking light on my WS-55511. Their Parts Dept said just prior that the DM Module for my TV is no longer available even though it's just 6 yrs old. Last week I soldered 7 new caps onto the board even though the old ones seemed fine but the blinking remained. I then called the local Mitsubishi Factory Service Center, waited a week before the tech came out and verified the blinnking green light, said I needed a new DM module (duh), and after they find one they'll charge $200 to install it, but wanted $85 now for the service call. So next Customer Relations said they'll perform a search for the part and let me know in 7-10 days what they find!?
I am no longer impressed with Mitsubishi "quality" or "service".
