My WS55511 Mitubishi will not turn on.  It power up for about 3 seconds and powers back down.  The green light blinks for a time if I hit the reset button, but it does not help the problem.  It sounds like the DM board problem that others on this forum have described.  I was hoping maybe someone could help me with obtaining the repair details on replacing the capacitors on the DM board.  I know how to solder OK and I believe I could do the repair, but I want to make sure I'm doing the right ones.  Can someone let me know how to get the repair instructions?  Thanks.

D Gray, I have sent these documents to you. You will need to go through all of the documents first because you did not specify a model number so I sent you all of the documents. If you need a different service manual, please let me know and if I have it I can share it with you. Good Luck

I have a 52" Mitsubishi WS-????.  It is a DLP HD set.  All I get when I try to turn it on is the blinking green light.  If you listen carefully it sounds like it is trying to click on but with no luck.  Any suggestions?  My email is adam_clar@yahoo.com.

Hello Larry,

Please add me to the growing list of folks that need help with the 'flashing green light' on Mitsubishi televisions. I have a houseful of kids and they aren't entertained by the light for very long.

The model is WS-48513 and my email is: domedude33@aol.com

Thanks soooo much!

Mike

Hi Larry,

You send the files about noon and I was watching the 5 o'clock news on my "new" TV. Great instructions! I will probably install a fan next week (not enough time now).

I found the 4 caps locally for a total of $8.54.

Thanks again!
