Ok, i have a Mitsubishi VS-60705 Rear Projection TV that shuts off 2 seconds after turning on. Did the error code check and got Coded 22 - Short Protect. From reading this and other posts it comes down to IC's and pico fuses. I ordered the kit form tvrepairkits.com and the items arrived. I pulled out the board, located and replaced the IC's no problem. My problem is in locating the Pico fuses F9A04 AND F9A05 which a re referenced in this and many other forums. If someone can point me to where to look for these fuses, or are they labeled different on this model. I have taken pictures and can email them to someone if they want to show me where to look. my email is magraft@yahoo.com

Thank You.

I have a Mitsubishi VS 45609 and the convergence failed on the blue gun. Replaced with a Genuine Sanyo 393-110 f(rom Audiolab Of GA) as indicated above. Worked great for a few weeks. Now I am having a vertical sweep problem where every so often the tv screen will zoom in and out approx 1/8 of an inch intermittently but not displaying any black bars.

suggestions would be greatly appreciated

switch the convergence ic's around and see if the problem switches to another color if it does interchange the convergence ic to see if you still have a problem with that pesky convergence ic'?

My Mitsubishi WS-55313 keeps changing format. Used to do it only on one input but now is doing it on most the inputs. Any thoughts on this.

Larry,

Do you have a service manual for a Mitsub WT-46807? Where would I go to get convergence ICs and new fuses for it?

Had the bowed screen for a while and finally blew a fuse.

Thanks.

My Mitsubishi VS-55707 has been very reliable for the last 9-10 years. But it's starting to show its age, when I turn it on it is dark and the colors are bad. BUT WHEN IT IS WARMED UP (after 15 minutes or so) EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD INCLUDING THE PICTURE. I was told something is wrong with the "Temperature Board". Can it be fixed?

Larry, i have a VS-60705 and was getting the 2-2 error code after replacing the IC's (We messaged each other on it before because i could not find the pico fuses, and you said "this model has the R 533 and R520 , .22ohm @ 2 WATTS and there are R8C60 and 8C49 2 watt resistors at .47@ 2 watts" I replaced those resistors with same issue. I then replaced Resistors R8C801 through R8C804 (2W 560J) and the unit powers on now. However my convergence is way off - bowed in top, bottom, left and right. Help..

Their is no such thing as a 'temperature board" Where do you guys get this stuff.
Either you are experiencing a high voltage problem or your CRT's are beginning to fail.
You need a real technician who has a CRT Checker to tell you more..
Call Mitsubishi and find a qualified Technician in your area.

I am assuming you are not a pro Technician.

This is why their are authorized Mitsubishi service centers. Now that you fixed part of it and do not have the alignment equipment, nor the experience, you have gotten yourself into a bag.
Your TV has experienced a cascade failure in several circuits. This is a tough one even for a trained veteran tech.
I suggest you put the TV together and call someone qualified for help.

People... This is NOT the type of work for the average Joe or even someone with basic electronic knowledge.
Oh the Internet makes it seem so easy, Joe will type in his model number, google stuff and do some research. Then come to his own diagnostic conclusion with out ANY actual technical facts.
I know, we get these calls every day !
Well the FACT is Joe is usually wrong in his diagnosis.
Joe is usually being cheap too.
So Joe will either try fixing it himself of go and buy a new TV needlessly.

SO my advice is Joe, Call Mitsubishi and find an authorized technician in your area. Get the real facts and then decide what to do. Yes it will probably cost you something, but you will have piece of mind that you did the right thing.

Also for the DIY Joe's out their, TV's are dangerous. Electricity is nothing to play with. TV's Store an electrical charge for months that can Kill you DEAD. This is no joke. Be safe.
For the cost of and estimate fee and your time you'll take away from your family, it is better to call a professional.
Heck, I'll call a plumber when my sink is backed up and play with my kids any day, even if I could fix the sink. Being a fun Dad is more important to me.

The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! The kit comes with original Sanyo STK IC'S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made IC'S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases GOOD LUCK!!!
