This is great advice Silva. In fact, I'm making this thread sticky so everyone gets to read it. Smile

hi and first thanks for your time ... odd request, ive got a av48wp30 jcv projo, a 105 chassis, im looking for the exact dimensions for the mirror for this tv. any help at all would be greatly appreciated . p.s. already know part # price where to purchase, thats why id like to go to glass shop and have cut instead .thanks again

Sorry to have to tell you this but a regular mirror will not work correctly.  The mirror in the projection set has the mirror surface on the outside or the surface of the glass.  Unless you can get this type of mirror you will have all sorts of reflection problems.  I have replaced some mirrors with a mylar replacement.  you can measure the size of this mirror by measuring the brackets that holds the mirror in place.  Good luck and let us know how you make out with this repair.

The IC's you are looking for are available HERE They are IC8C01 and IC8C02.  They are the STK392-570, and just for giggles the Mitsubishi part number is 267P150010.  You really should replace both IC's at one.  Also make sure you use plenty of heat sink compound on the back of the new IC's before you install them.  Good Luck and let us know how you make out with this repair.
