Look for a "format" or "initialize" option in the camera's menu. Using this option should get the card working again.

I bought a digital camera for my mom in Japan.The instructions were in japanese. I recently transferred pics to my computer from it. Now it says "card not initialized" when I turn it on. What does this mean and can I correct this?
