A few good online searches didn't reveal much about HCT's product line, website, or support documentation. In fact, I'm not even sure they have a website.

My best suggestion is to ask around to see if anyone else you know has this brand of TV. Most of the time, the unlock procedures don't change much from year to year. So, if you can find a manual for a different set, it could apply to yours.

Another suggestion is to return to your place of purchase and ask if glance at an HCT manual for one of the TVs on display. I don't know how friendly the shopkeeps are around there, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

Well, I thankyou for commenting on it and trying to help me but it is alittle late for the tv now. Haha, since there were none on display at any of the shops around here nor could I find them, I decided to just take it apart and look for the chip or battery (since im a computer guy thought it might have a batt in it haha) well, it has been like three weeks since it even worked for me so it made me suffer. So I made the good "technology" suffer too. I also found at that HCT stands for Human Connecting Techonology or some stuff like that. Anyways, just take this help thread away now since I am just going to buy a JVC lol. Thanks

I searched High and low but I found the website for the company www.hctkorea.co.kr/main/main.php I hope it helps.

Had the same problem with my HCT TV model HTV-021TA. I was able to download the manual from the company's website and reset the TV by pressing the I.P.C button 3 times. Mine IPC button has a picture of a monitor and a diode looking symbol next to it.

Here is the link: http://www.hctkorea.co.kr/ . Copy and paste to your browser window.

The companys name is HCT Korea.CO.LTD

The company has online support for all of its products. To download the manual, I used the right click on the PDF symbol and saved the target to my desktop.

Hope this helps. Soldiers helping Soldiers in Iraq. HOOAH!

Well... It looks like AAFES has doen it again with the HCT branded television. Before HCT, there was a brand called SABRE and these two are so much alike. What I mean by alike, is that they are both "cheap." As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." When the price of the unit seems too good to be true, trust me, it is! SABRE is no longer showing up on AAFES shelves and HCT is replacing it. Word of advice, stay away from these brands.

I just bought a 32" HCT TV and can't get it to turn on. There's no manual power-on button on the TV, so the remote is it, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there something I'm missing or something I should know? Any ideas?
