Hi,
I have Sony DVD player (Model: DVP-NS530)& Sony Tv (Model: Kv-G21Q2).Problem is that when I play VCD in player it gives colored image, when I play DVD in it it shows the black & white movie.On the other hand I have checked it by replacing the DVD player or the TV as well they work perfect on other tv or dvd player,please help.

I have a DVD-CD player PANASONIC - JUST CHANGED TO BLACK AND WHITE ONLY. GATHER I NEED TO PROVIDE CONNECTION INFO AND WILL INVESTIGATE SAME. I BELIEVE PICTURE IS DIRECT TO TV VIDEO 1 AND SOUND GOES THROUGH RECEIVER - HARMON.

HOW MUCH MORE INFO IS NEEDED

If the DVD player's audio and video goes through the receiver, then I'll need you to follow the video signal from the back of the DVD player. Document the type of cable being used (S-Video, Composite, or component) that connects the video to the back of the receiver. Then, find the receiver's TV out that connects the video line to your display and document that as well. While you're back there, make sure all of your connections are tight since loose connections are a commom cause of issues like these.

Hello everyone i've got the same problem that when i connect my sony ps2 slim console to the tv (Sony model no.Kv-G21Q2) it shows blacknwhite video please tell me what to do?
