Get Better FM Reception From Portable Devices

Portable FM radios that do not have a telescoping antenna, like some MP3 players, portable CD players, and small radios, rely on the headphone wire to act like an antenna to receive FM stations. If you are having difficulty receiving an FM broadcast on your portable device, try moving or folding the headphone cable in different positions to improve your reception, or just hold the wire for a small signal boost.
