Mitsubishi DLP TV blinking timer light problem

I have a Mitsubishi WD-52525 DLP TV and the "timer light" continues to blink following a power surge.  TV is (4) years old and has always been powered through a surge suppressor.  I did all the usual things, unpluged the power for 8 hours and reset. Still blinks.  I would appreciate receiving the repair fix that Larry Dillion has suggested.  My email: [email protected]  Thanks in advance........

Also working on our 3rd lamp.

Also working on our 3rd lamp. I've never had so much trouble with a TV and now face an expensive repair bill. That is if I can't fix it myself, with a little help.

I just replaced (13)

I just replaced (13) capacitors, on the DM board and power supply board, put the TV back together, plugged it in and the nasty green light is still blinking, about 2-3 times a second. Has anyone got any suggestions on the next step, other that pitching it in the dumpster?

DM could be bad, contact

DM could be bad, contact ptsorp.com and see what they charge for an overhaul.Couls alo possibly be a defetive light engine. Maybe even a bad card reader, follow direction at end of ealrlier e-mail at the end to test this.

Mitsubishi has a complete

Mitsubishi has a complete rebuild of the entire block in the V26 chassis. It involves close to 100 capacitors they've pinpointed as problematic. The cost is $300, turntime is around 60-65 days. You have to call the Mits parts department, they'll send you a shipping box. I'm pretty sure it's only available to those with a Mits account.

I have a Mitsubishi 55 inch

I have a Mitsubishi 55 inch rear projection tv model #WS-55859. The timer light keeps blinking and unplugging and setting the reset don't do anything. I saw older posts on replacing the capicitors. Can you send me the instructions for the model I have?

Thanks.
