So a small introduction..

Without long drawn out things you do not have time to read:

  • I travel constantly for work, including internationally.  This means timezones are really for whimps and DST was a tease.
  • My day job has me architecting software deployments, troubleshooting high end issues from the team I have and playing with all the beta software IBM seems to toss out the door
  • My wife thinks I have far too many toys and gadgets and why would I need newer ones all the time?  Because I have an addiction and readily admit it
  • My travels allow me to test out software and gadgets everywhere and I really do
  • I run another blog and podcast and will try to keep any mixing of them to a bare minimum
  • Anything is up for grabs here. Gadgets, software, websites. Anything to make me more portable and work less (read that as easier)
  • It seems I sleep more than I think but far less than my dody desires...ramblings are possible
  • I willingly take test software and devices from vendors as I have done this  type of blogging before tehre was blogging and it was called magazine articles.  I am incredibly fair and honest when I do review them so be warned.  If you cannot take the honestly about the good and bad then all the more fun.

Feel free to chime in, make suggestions of things I haven't tried yet or new tools. You can email me through Techlore and even send mesages it seems.

So off to the races!

Everyone claims to have the best technology tools to work and play wherever you are. Follow Chris Miller as he drudges through airports, hotels, data centers (and even remote soccer fields) all over the world to tell you what he finds that works and doesn't in making travel productive and fun. From business tools to awesome gadgets, innovative software and even entertainment, he will test everything he gets his hands on. Feel free to send some stuff to test to his grubby hands.
