Happy Birthday TechLore!

It was one year ago today that a fledgling community known as TechLore hit the vast expanse of the World Wide Web. On December 14th, 2004, TechLore.com launched with no forums, no blogs, and more importantly, no members. Since that day, The TechLore Team has worked tirelessly to morph TechLore into a community experience like no other, through building our community platform from the ground up. We wanted to provide more than off-the-shelf message board software that is the center of so many other "community" sites.

A year later, TechLore has an active base of over 3200 community members, and more are joining every day. The veteran TechLore users know that we're always releasing new features and functionality to the site, like forums, blogs, private messaging, search enhancements, and more, making everyone's community experience better. Don't think for a moment that crossing the one-year hurdle is going to slow us down; we've got tons of new features and ideas in the pipeline. You never know what we're going to do next...

Thanks to all of our first year members for helping make TechLore what it is today. Lets face it; we wouldn't really be a community without any of you. We've got a lot in store for you in year two, so stay tuned!

We all have questions whether its about TVs, MP3 players, DVRs, smartphones, or digital cameras. Sure, buying the right gadget can be tough but it doesn't stop there. Just learning a new device can sometimes be tricky and you'll want to find new ways to use it over the months and years. We created TechLore to help you get the most out of your gear - someone needed to do it and we think this Community is the best solution. In this Blog we will share our vision and engage our members to help build the best resource for the millions of us who need answers!
