I have a Trinitron KV-32HS510 that wont come on,I unplugged it 4 times for a while, after the first time I tried turning it back on I got (5 red blinks) the second time was (7 red blinks) the third was (4 red blinks) and now its (4 red blinks) what do I do??

Hello fellow techies!
Hoping you can help me! My roommates TV out of the blue just kicked the bucket.. Its a Sony LCD KLV-32m1.. When I push the power button NO LIGHT comes on.. Nothing happens.. No sounds, no flicker, nothing.. Power chord is fine and its not the outlet.. I'm 99% positive its the power supply which I have taken out already.. Looked at all the capacitors and regulators for any swelling or leakage... Nothing appears to be out of whack.. If ANYONE has any suggestions I would LOVE them! Thank you in advance for any help!! :)

I have a sony sxrd 50" that had blown a lamp. I replaced the lamp and am getting a blinking green light that turns to red and blinks 3 times over and over. I checked to make sure the lamp cover was making contact with the micro switch. It still does the same fault. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have a Sony Trinitron that turns on fine then the picture continuously blinks on and off. It also happens when you put a dvd in as well.

i have the sony kds-r60xbr1 projection television. i replaced the lamp. i lost the remote control. i bought a universal remote. i do not get a picture. the red light blinks 3 times. now what? i dont know what to do? the lamp tests good.

My Sony KD-XBR960 when power is off will blink 6 times, stop and continue 6 times, etc. When I power it on, it blinks around 15 times then shuts off. If I pull the plug from the wall for about a week, sometimes two, plug it back in, it works. But then when I turn off the set, it's starts the 6 blinking again when sets not on and I can't get it to power up again. I purchased the TV in 2005. Thanks for any assistance you have in advance.

sony 42"Grand Wega. Powers on, screen doesnt come on. Goes directly to stand bye blinks for 30 sec. Then switches to lamp then that blinks continously. Screen remains black the whole time. The ligts are flashing red.

Thanks for the info on the Standby Blink Codes! I have a Sony KDL-46V25L1 that has the Standby indicator blinking eight times after I attempt to turn the unit on. After pressing the power button on the remote, the green power indicator turns on, I hear a relay (?) click a few times (once was normal), then the power indicator turn off and the standby indicator blinks eight times, pauses and repeats. The is no display. The night before it died we experienced some loud pops (audio) as the cable was going in and out so I am wondering if it is indeed an audio problem. Another TV on a different cable box but on the same channel did not have the audio pops. Then again, could be a power problem too.
I saw a previous post regarding checking the power and will do that once I get it off of the wall and the back removed. I am comfortable doing the repair once I determine the problem.
BTW - the service manual, now in the download area, has some Power LED blink codes on page 11, you may want to update the first page.
Any additional thoughts and comments are welcome.

I have an old sony trinitron KV-29FX30K, and it blinks 11 times (no audio or video). I read all 27 pages with comments, but seems nobody knows what is with this 11 blinks error code. Anyone can help?

Thanks again for posting the Standby Blink Codes.Looks like the blink code definitions are going to vary from one device to another. Eight blinks on the KDL-46V25L1 indicate the video processor board needs to be replaced. I found a new one, installed it and all looks good.

Search Google for "KV-29FX30K, and it blinks 11 times" , Third result is a PDF for the Service Manual. Quick View shows 11 blinks is a Jungle controller 8 volts error.

We have a Sony KDF 55E2000 model and it blinks a flashing red light five times and then repeats itself. We have had it for about 5 years. Is it worth repairing?

I have a Sony LCD Projection TV, Model KF-42WE610, date of mfg Dec2003LA2, serial9209026, I turned it on and got pic, then about a minute or two shut off and continue blinking red, then went to laps light and blinks. could it need a new buld, where the bulb is in the front plastic cover is a little melted, but bulb looks ok. put back in. Can u help me with the problem, thank you

my 55ex720 blinks in a four red blink pattern and its not even a year old and 2 days later my ps3 has ylod. I am an soldier stationed in Germany. It is not that easy to contact sony for help.

I am having Sony wega KV-SW21M83 model. problem is led 5 times blinking and green color is not coming. changed the color ic also in the neck board but the same problem is continuing. please give solution to solve this problem.

hi there i have a sony bravia KDF-50e2010 when i switch it on it stays on for around 5 to 10 mins, after that it switches of and green and red lights flash on the standby light, it flashes non stop green then red, green and red, so on and so on,it seems to be in intervals of 6 but unsure.. please can someone help, i dont want to get rid of it as it was given to me by a family member thats no longer here :(
