HI , I HAVE A SONY KDF-50E2010, after 1min 44sec the TV will go on secure mode, and I have 3 blinks, can anyone help me with this issue ??? I read the comments and I was looking for the T603 and R672 they do not exist. Thanks

my 50 inch just flashes untill i turn it off i lost my book so i cant look it up. everything is fine the green light comes on but just ticks over for ages the fan is working but just ticks over to 2 red lights i dunno what to do. please help

I have a sony trinitron model KV-35S42.
It was working great then next morning no power. when I turn it on it has no power, the standby light doesn't come on.
Is this a fuse problem?
Any help would be great.

Sony's are extremely tricky with their lamp doors, if you have a heat gun try taking out your lamp door and heating it up enough so its slightly pliable. Once done insert back into the tv, I caution you not to over heat it. This can cause warping but the issue a lot of times with lamp doors is that it's not a 100% seated properly, after you've heated up enough push in very FIRMLY. Hope this works for you, I have done this to about 5 to 6 tvs with 100% success

spoutnik, I have the same thing 3 blinks and when I looked up the code it says b+ something ovp over voltage problems and the t603 n r672 things u mentioned I could not find out what they were or anything about them for a long time and then (not confirmed) heard they were fuses but Sony told me first to try the unplugging and moving to another outlet n resetting power but finally said that it was my lamp cover not being secure. I took it out and then put it back and it didnt work but u can read the comment I got on here to take it out n trying getting it warm enough to make it slightly plyable and put it in tightly . I haven't done it yet but am about to. I will post what happens, but just thought I let u know since our problems seemed very similar.

ok so the snapping my lamp into place worked but after about 2 hours now its off again and blinking 3 times again. I am very aggravated with this tv!! it blinks rainbow 2 xs then green 3 xs then red 3 xs?

hi sir, i have a sony KPFX432-M91 and has no video but with audiofor a couple of seconds then it turns off...saw 10 blinks on the LED. im not really a technician and was wondering if the projector is busted...is the Q8014..related to the projector. by the way the tv is roughly 5 yrs old

I have a Sony Rear Projection tv that does not turn on. Model # KP-51WS500
When I turn on the tv, it does not display any picture or audio, it simply turns itself off. But as I push the power button it does this code of blinking. 3 blinks slowly, 7 blinks rapidly, then theres a pause of atleast a few seconds, and it does a repeating pattern from time to time of just 6 blinks.

My problem with my sony 32' tv, modle kv32fq86 standby keeps flashing (16 times then pause)Pleeeeeease help me.

I have an old Sony KV 32S42 Trinitron tv. Today it when dead and won't turn on. I have the 2 blinks code. I try to turn it on and it turns right off immediatly by itself.
Is there a service manual I can use to diagnose and correct the problem? I am an electronics tech and can do it, but need some help. Thanks.
